Eli E. Cohen was born in the US and spent part of his formative years in Israel. After completing a three year stint in the armed forces, he became the youngest account executive at the largest ad agency in Israel while studying for his B.A. at Tel-Aviv University.

In 1983 he set up Creative Concepts, a consulting firm providing integrated marketing and communications services to a wide range of international companies.

Bringing over twenty years of hands-on experience in almost every facet of marketing communications, he is noted for his creative, sometimes unorthodox approach in formulating strategies.

On the business side, he has been a partner in a leading niche agency, VP of an global multimedia company, served as director of corporate marketing and marketing communications for several publicly traded international corporations, consulted to numerous start-ups, served as the editor of a local newspaper and as Jazz Director of WSND-FM was one of the originators of the smooth jazz format. 

On the public side, he has served as acting head of a local town council, congregation founder and chairman and lecturer.
